Saudi Arabia's Cast Lead

http://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/200...cast-lead.html

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091105/...Bsb21hdHNzYXU-

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8344394.stm

From news article:

In a statement on its website on Wednesday, the group said Saudi warplanes and helicopters had dropped phosphorus bombs on its fighters in the areas of al-Malahaid, Jabal al-Mamdud, al-Husama and al-Mujdaa.

From news article:

Saudi Arabia has launched a large military incursion across the border into northern Yemen, using fighter jets and artillery bombardments to try to end a Shiite rebellion inside its troubled southern neighbor, Arab diplomats and the rebels said Thursday. The northern rebels, known as Hawthis, have been battling Yemeni government forces intensively over the past few months in the latest flare-up of a sporadic conflict that has lasted five years. The Hawthis are based in northern Saada province, which borders Saudi Arabia.
"Saudi jets dropped bombs on a crowded areas including local market in the northern province of Saada," Hawthi spokesman Mohammed Abdel-Salam told The Associated Press. "They (Saudis) claim they are targeting al-Hawthis, but regrettably they are killing civilians like the government does," he added.
"The attacks were followed by hundreds of shells from the border," Abdel-Salam said.
There was no immediate word on casualties.
Two Arab diplomats, speaking on condition of anonymity, told AP Saudi Tornado and F-15 warplanes have been bombarding targets inside Yemen since Wednesday afternoon, inflicting significant casualties on the rebels. The diplomats spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not allowed to talks to the media.
They said army units and special forces have been sent to northern Yemen, and that several Saudi towns on the border have been evacuated.

From news article:

Houthis are claiming that Saudi Arabia is putting up a "separation fence" in Yemen territory:
Saudi forces opened fire on the crowd following conflicts with local residents over the construction of a separation fence on Yemeni soil," said a Wednesday statement released by members of the Shia group.

Consequently, the incident inflicted the loss of numerous lives, as well as serious injuries upon both sides.

"Residents of the area reject any fence which would have a negative economic impact on them and cut them off from their brethren on the other side," the statement also noted.
We need more international law experts to specify all the clear legal distinctions between the good Saudis and the evil Israelis, and between the evil Houthis and the good Hamas members.

Re: Saudi Arabia's Cast Lead

From news article:

November 8, 2009: The four month war against rebel Shia tribesmen in Yemen has now attracted the attention of Saudi Arabia. Saudi aircraft have, in the last week, used several hundred missiles and bombs on Yemeni rebel targets near the Saudi border. This was triggered by an incident on October 14th, when Saudi police caught two al Qaeda members trying to get past a border post dressed as women, and carrying weapons and bomb making material. The two were killed in a gun battle, along with a policeman.

The Yemeni Shia rebels have been forced back to the Saudi border, where they are hiding out among some 60,000 civilian refugees from the fighting. On October 18th, the rebels reported that Saudi troops fired across the border, to support an Yemeni army attack on some rebels barricaded inside a town. Elsewhere on the border, Saudi troops have been fighting with tribesmen opposed to the security fence the Saudis are building along the border. The tribesmen have freely crossed the border for centuries, but now the Saudis want to halt the smuggling, and movement of al Qaeda terrorists into the kingdom.

Yemeni rebels say shot down army fighter jet

Published: 11.08.09, 11:08 / Israel News

The Zaidi rebels in Yemen said Sunday they had shot down a fighter jet in the north, which the military said had crashed due to technical problems.

"Our anti-aircraft batteries shot down a military plane which carried out bombings in the city of Razeh, near the border with Saudi Arabia," Abdessalam Mohammad, a spokesman for the Shiite rebels, told AFP. But a military source in Sanaa said that the jet had crashed near Razeh "due to a technical problem", and that it's mission was to bomb the rebel areas. (AFP)

Pakistani fighters support Houthis
15/11/2009

Yemen's Houthi rebels have Pakistani fighters in their ranks, press reports revealed Sunday, as Saudi Arabia arrested a sorcerer on its border with Yemen attempting to plant magic spells in the conflict zone in support of the rebel group.

Pakistani fighters are helping the Houthi rebels with their conflict against Saudi Arabia, Al Arabiya TV reported, quoting Yemen's Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi as saying: "The way the Houthi militias operate and the amount of money they spend on the conflict make the involvement of foreign powers almost a certainty."...

Border sorcerer

Meanwhile Saudi's armed forces arrested a sorcerer attempting to plant magic spells in the conflict zone in support of the Houthis, the Saudi newspaper Okaz reported.

The paper reported that army officers spotted a “strange-looking” man with long dirty nails and thick entangled hair pulled back in disheveled braids wondering the border town of Jabal Dukhan.

The man was initially believed to be a refugee fleeing the conflict but security forces searched him and found amulets, animal remains and scrolls containing symbols.

The detainee admitted he was planning to plant amulets in the conflict zone to help the Houthi rebels sneak across the border and win their war against Saudi Arabia.

When asked why he had long nails, he claimed that he is obeying the order of the jinns, or spirits.
“The jinns will be infuriated and will kill me if I trim or clean my nails,” he told his interrogators.
------------------

Some Interesting Information about Jinns

Sultan Bashiruddin Mahmood, a scientist with Pakistan's Atomic Energy Establishment also known to be an exponent of "Islamic Science" and once wrote a few "scientific" papers on harnessing Djinns to generate electricity and solve Pakistan's power problems. Mr. Mahmood suggested that djinnis (or genies), being fiery beings, could be harnessed and used to generate electricity, a form of energy he called "Djinn Energy." He even approached the then president of Pakistan for research funding with a plan to build a Djinn Power plant. Naturally, most western scientific journals refused to have anything do with his papers and Mr. Mahmood was forced to publish his ideas in a Pakistani journal instead.

Nightwatch

Saudi Arabia-Yemen: About 240 villages in Saudi Arabia near the Yemen border have been evacuated because of the fighting in Yemen, Reuters reported today, citing the United Nations Children's Fund. Other sources reported more than 175,000 people have been displaced by the Saudi buffer zone project.
